Is this swimsuit okay for the beach?

Thats a local thing - in most of Europe, Asia, South America, or Miami, it would be fine and typical. In most of "middle America," or the northeast outside of Fire Island, probably not. In California, it would be fine in Venice or Malibu, maybe not in northern Cali, or San Diego.
