How can I make my bf more comfortable being in the presence of my family?

Aww poor thing. Start inviting him over a lot gradually to your house for dinner or just to hang out and play games and such. Make him feel welcome and gradually he'll start feeling more comfortable. My boyfriends family is much more different from mine cause we have a huge cultural difference :p my parents are brazillian and vietnamese and his are just american xD it was uncomfortable for me at first and I couldn't even eat much when I was over but I started hanging out with his family more and more. I got to know his family a bit and got used to the atmosphere(:
