17th & 18th Birthday Party Ideas ?

My birthday is in December and I always end up planning last minute, so hopefully this year I can have a great party. I would love to have a party outside at a park but the weather isn't dependable enough for that. So i need ideas for a nice indoor party, I was thinking of maybe renting out a venue but that can get pricey. I need to keep it at a reasonable price. I would rather stay away from the home party because that's what I normally do. Help me out with some original but fun ideas? I hope to keep it sophisticated but young enough for some teenagers to have fun! Any help would be appreciated :)
